I remember as a child my mom would take me with her when she went shopping.
And there was always this one department store she would go in.
She’d lead me over to the center of the store where there were couches and arm chairs.
And there I would sit and watch a man play the piano right in front of me.
For those moments, however long they’d be, I’d simply relax and allow the sounds of the music to inspire me and brighten my day.
And although I haven’t been in that store in a long time, I have always carried with me a love for classical music.
It’d be nice to tell those three or four different piano players thank you.
But I suppose listening to the kinds of music they enjoyed playing is sort of like a little thank you in itself.
