“Once you can accept the universe as matter expanding into nothing that is something, wearing stripes with plaid comes easy…” – Albert Einstein
Mason J. Schneider was born in the city of Des Moines, Iowa, but was raised in the small town of Jamestown, where he has had the odd summer job and also worked as a cashier in the grocery store. He still lives in Jamestown today, with his cat SneeSnaw, and spends his days writing and dreaming up incredible stories for children and young adults.
Mason’s talents and imagination led to him writing The Wizard of the Night, a children’s fantasy series, and his young adult sci-fi series, Al Moreno: Rift Resolver. He plans to continue to dream and write for as long as people want to read about the fantastic and the amazing.
In his spare time, Mason enjoys hiking, reading, writing poems, watching movies and spending time with his cat, who is also his best friend. Despite his young age he has been all over the United States and from these travels has developed a taste for the unusual. Growing up his father built a library inside his house, so reading books was always readily available.
In the future Mason hopes to become a successful fiction author and be able to travel the world to gain experience to then continue to write books on how he views the world. Of course he would also like to meet the right girl somewhere along the line, get married and maybe settle down.
